Two households, one security: what corroboration does and does not prove
TradingEdgeIQ editorial desk (sample) · published 2026-08-30 · revision 1 · no corrections recorded
Demonstrates: Versioned comparative analysis
Two illustrative households report a purchase in the same security within eight days. One record carries a filing date; the other does not, because the route it came from does not publish one.
Under score version cti-score-1.0.0-uncalibrated, the first record earns corroboration points for the independent second household, and the second record earns none for timeliness because the input required to evaluate it is absent. The scores differ by seventeen points, and every point of that difference is attributable to a named component.
Neither number is a band. The model is uncalibrated, so no threshold has been approved that would let 61 be called 'high' and 44 'moderate'; both are shown as numbers with the version that produced them.
Corroboration raises attention, not confidence in a thesis. Two households buying the same widely-held security in the same week is a pattern that a large enough population produces routinely, and the score is a cue to look, not a finding.
Why it matters
Issuer pages aggregate across filers, which is where an apparent consensus is easiest to manufacture out of coincidence. Naming the component that produced each point is what makes the aggregate checkable.
Why it may not
The second record's seated status is unverified and its filing date is missing, so it is the weaker of the two on two independent axes. A comparison drawn from two records, one of them incomplete, cannot support a claim about the security.

Research attention score — not investment advice. Named score bands are off: the model is uncalibrated, so the number is shown without a label.
Medium confidence
Why this ranked
- A second independent household reported activity in the same security in the window.
- Filed 56 days after the transaction.
- First reported activity in this security by this filer in the reference window.
What could weaken this interpretation
Two households is a small corroboration base; the same pattern would arise by chance in a security held broadly.
Reported as an original filing.

Research attention score — not investment advice. Named score bands are off: the model is uncalibrated, so the number is shown without a label.
Low confidence
Why this ranked
- Disclosed range sits in the upper-mid magnitude band.
- No filing date published on this route, so timeliness could not be evaluated.
What could weaken this interpretation
This filer's seated status is unverified in the source, so the record is presented as a candidate filing.
Reported as an original filing.

How each claim on this page is classified
- Filed fact
- Reported in a public financial-disclosure filing. The official filing is the authoritative source.
- Independently sourced context
- Background drawn from a source other than the disclosure filing, cited where it is used.
- Deterministic CTI analysis
- Computed by a versioned TradingEdgeIQ rule from the filed facts. Reproducible from the same inputs; not a statement by Congress.
- Editorial interpretation
- A judgement by the TradingEdgeIQ editorial desk. Identified as opinion, not as a reported or computed fact.
